-I’ve lived longer than the average life expectancy of the great nation of the United States of America, I guess you can call me blessed.

-More than half of those years I gave to one institution, That’s more than a career, its an oath of loyalty, an oath of grace, an oath of family.

-900 other brave soldiers have come and gone through my reign.  Of the current 119 who stand on the same battlefield as I, 31 were yet to be nursed by their mothers when I took my first steps onto the grounds.

-I hold the crown as the most victorious; arguably the greatest to do what I’ve done.

-12 men have stood as Commander of Chief as I have commanded my men to go out every Saturday and give me the one thing that a man in my position would ask for, their all.

-When it has mattered most, I have come out on top twice the amount of times I have failed.

-Twice they called me and my men the best.

-However, I will be remembered of none of the above to the eyes of the many, the eyes of those who have yet to exist.

-My name is tarnished with one act that I recorded, the act to not act.  The decision of indecision, and the ultimate disgrace to the morals of mankind.  

-Better to be forgotten than to be remembered like this.
